Enrollment Conditions I understand that:
  • Transportation will not be provided for my student.
  • Principals have the authority to revoke transfers due to population growth and/or student discipline/attendance violations.
  • Providing false information on this form may result in application being denied or transfer being revoked.
  • Approval is contingent on space availability for the school / grade level / program.
  • Open enrollment is not first-come first-served. In the event more applications are received than available space at any grade level, a lottery drawing will be held to determine which applications received during an open enrollment time period may be accepted.
  • Under governing board policy 5.2.2, open enrollment applications are accepted at the district office between September 1st and January 21st each year. The early bird application deadline is December 1st, and early bird applications will be processed and notification sent prior to winter break. After staffing allocations have been completed, school administrators may continue to accept out-of-district applications based on classroom and program availability.
